The Berkshire Walkers is a UK walking group for young people. Offering an informal and relaxed approach to enjoying the countryside, walking throughout the Berkshire Area and occasionally venturing into the neighbouring counties.
NORTH WESSEX DOWNS AONB
The North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is located in the English counties of Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. It is a unique and spectacular landscape that includes tranquil open downland, ancient woodland and chalk streams.
READING OUTDOOR GROUP
We are a long established friendly club based in Berkshire, attracting people of all ages. We organise a varied programme of outdoor and indoor events throughout the year including local walks of all lengths and weekends away to enjoy walking in hillier areas of Britain.
READING RAMBLING CLUB
Reading Rambling Club is a friendly independent walking club which has been enjoying the local countryside for over 80 years. Our local walks range between three and 12 miles, and we also venture further afield for long days out, weekends away and holidays abroad.
STRIDE WALKING CLUB
STRIDE is a four season walking club based in the Berkshire area covering a wide age range with a minimum age of 18 years.

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE RAILWAY CENTRE
The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, a 25 acre working Steam Museum, with one of the UK's largest collections of locomotives, rolling stock and railway memorabilia. A re-created country station in the heyday of steam travel, offers steam train rides on certain days.

CRANBORNE CHASE AND WEST WILTSHIRE DOWNS AONB
This nationally designated AONB covers 380 sq miles of countryside overlapping the boundaries of Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset. It is a diverse landscape offering areas of rolling chalk grassland, ancient woodlands, chalk escarpments, downland hillsides and chalk river valleys each with a distinct and recognisable character. The landscapes of the AONB today, as they were in the past, are extraordinarily rich.
NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK
The New Forest is an area of southern England which includes one of the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and forest in the heavily-populated south east of England. It covers south-west Hampshire and extends into south-east Wiltshire.

HIGH WEALD AONB
he High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty extends across the counties of Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent. It is the fourth largest Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB) in England and Wales. It is characterised by an attractive, small-scale landscape containing a mosaic of small farms and woodlands, historic parks, sunken lanes and ridge-top villages.
KENT DOWNS AONB
The Kent Downs AONB includes the white cliffs of Dover and the area of chalk that runs along the spine of the county whereas the High Weald AONB covers the south west of the county and is characterised by its medieval landscape of rolling hills, abundant woodland and irregular field patterns.
